Enery saver โœ…๐Ÿ’ฏโ™ฅ๏ธ

I have this adorable student named Marwin who always makes my day more brighter than usual. I know teacher shouldn’t practice favouritism or atleast should not let other kids feel they are not equally loved. In this moment of my life, I broke the rule!

I cannot control myself but to be strucked by this lovable kid. The pureness of the heart, kindness, thoughtfulness, funny, curiousity and a kid with so many wonders and questions in his mind just lead me being closed to him even more.

Yesterday, since it was the beginning of the week, Monday…my body and mind were still on its adjusting mode. An early morning with a less smile was reflected on my face, maybe because it has been a tiring weekend. As I walked on our English class, Marwin just approached me with a big smile. He has something on his hand. A small yellow tablet, gripping it tightly by his thumb and pointing finger.

“Ms. Gemma! This is for you. ” ๐Ÿ˜Š
“Oh thank you Marwin! What is this?”
“My mom told me it’s a candy, Vitamin C.”
“Thank you, I really need this because I am lowbat already. I don’t have enough energy.”

That genuine smile and thoughtfulness just saved my day! Not because of the yellow sweet tablet from this kid but the way he diverted my weary soul to a light, inspired and happy one. I just couldn’t help but to smile whenever I remember this little boy. Truly, he is my energy saver and booster!

Sometimes, the most powerful motivating force can be from a simple child. We can never underestimate their capacity to effect a certain change on our current mood and perspectives. I am just so blessed that I have known this kid, Marwin. I know I’m not the only teacher that has seen this loving soul from this kid.

Truly, love is just so abundant. I have received an amazing doze through this little boy.
It has been a wonderful two years knowing this kid.

Teaches the mind, touches the heart. โค๏ธ

Always,
Gemma
