If all the people you’ve seeing in your workplace, school, parks, public transportation vehicle, restaurant and all the edge of the world are all frowning and no one dares to see the morning sunlight. If everyone wears black and “i don’t care” attitude towards other people. If everybody never indulge themselves to a morning talk with their workmates or worst never pay attention to his colleague who passes by the corridor. If everybody just ignore other’s presence and continue to live their life with a foolish tagline of “I AM BETTER THAN YOU”. This reflects how pitiful it is to live inside the world of own build monarchy whose everyone has been dying to get the crown. The crown of approval, popularity and prestige.
The question is, how can you be a sunflower on this gloomy day? Since everyone has been enveloped by the social norm of “I am better” society ? Since you’ve know how it is hard to live in the world where pretensions exist and nobody cares to understand the worth of humanity with humility. How can you be a solid rock amidst the sliding pieces of soil collapsing because they’re trying to uproot each other’s dignity? When you are inside a compound whose garbage of someone else is the trending news; how will you react?
It is natural for human to act that way, to see things and do things which will lift them up. Unaware or sometimes aware that they are floating above the clouds and taking so much pride of themselves. In this testing, we must never forget to wear the sandals of humility. The Lord reminded us , For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted (Matthew 23:12).
When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom (Proverbs 11:2)
Brothers and Sisters, the world would be a better place if people who resides on it are filled with love, compassion and kindness to one another. Stop building the tower of “I am better than you” society. It will never become your passport and I.D card for eternity. Everything you have built and achieved here on Earth doesn’t matter when you die. So, love one another as you love yourself. As Jesus, Our Lord, loves you so much.
God bless you!
