The chronicle of a kid who wishes to ride on a plane and make friends with the clouds.

I’ve always been dreaming to ride on an aircraft. As far as my childhood memory can remember, every time an airplane and helicopter make noises along the open skyline, I’ll automatically lift my head, wave my hands and see its wondrous wings as it intersects the commotion of clouds above. I wonder what the taste of the clouds, is it true that it feels like a cotton candy or a white fluffy pillow where I could take a nap for even a 60 seconds of my life. This dream of mine continuously manifested on my brain, it is further stimulated every time I see airplanes (even if it’s just a small craft of paper during my elementary years). I am also fond of creating kites made up of colorful plastics and nylon or used threads. I am so proud when my kite reaches the highest zenith point compared to my friends. I cried a lot when the thread has been broken or cut because of hovering wind. I’ll just gaze the diamond-shape kite as it makes a clumsy twisting acrobatic moves in a thin-air.
It’s been an awesome memory came rushing through my mind. About the aircrafts, the flying thing, the nostalgic evidence that I was once a kid who runs and fly after her dreams. I know it’s quite childish to talk about this for almost 50% of the world’s population have the access and have the chance to ride a plane but the excitement to make a story about it is always trembling in my heart.
That accumulated dreams and desire to ride a plane was finally pointed its factual ring when I was given an opportunity to visit here in Thailand.  The experience was great! My mind keeps on singing the lyrics “Leaving on a Jet Plane” and I wish I could already learn to play a guitar while singing this song.
All my bags are packed, I’m ready to go
I’m standin’ here outside your door
I hate to wake you up to say goodbye

But the dawn is breakin’, it’s early morn
The taxi’s waitin’, he’s blowin’ his horn
Already I’m so lonesome I could die
So kiss me and smile for me
Tell me that you’ll wait for me
Hold me like you’ll never let me go
‘Cause I’m leaving on a jet plane
I don’t know when I’ll be back again
Oh, babe, I hate to go
I’m …
There’s so many times I’ve let you down
So many times I’ve played around
I’ll tell you now, they don’t mean a thing
Every place I go, I think of you
Every song I sing, I sing for you
When I come back I’ll wear your wedding ring
So kiss me and smile for me
Tell me that you’ll wait for me
Hold me like you’ll never let me go
‘Cause I’m leaving on a jet plane
I don’t know when I’ll be back again
Oh, babe, I hate to go
Now the time has come to leave you
One more time, oh, let me kiss you
And close your eyes and I’ll be on my way
Dream about the days to come
When I won’t have to leave alone
About the times that I won’t have to say …
Oh, kiss me and smile for me
Tell me that you’ll wait for me
Hold me like you’ll never let me go
‘Cause I’m leaving on a jet plane
I don’t know when I’ll be back again
Oh, babe, I hate to go
And I’m leaving on a jet plane
I don’t know when I’ll be back again
Oh, babe, I hate to go
But I’m leaving on a jet plane
(Ah ah ah ah)
Leaving on a jet plane
(Ah ah ah ah)
Leaving on a jet plane
(Ah ah ah ah)
Leaving on a jet plane
(Ah ah ah ah)
Leaving on a jet plane
(Ah ah ah ah)
Leaving on a jet plane
(Ah ah ah ah)
Leaving on a jet plane
(Ah ah ah ah)
Leaving on a jet plane
(Ah ah ah ah)
(Leaving) On a jet plane
The plane is now ready to take-off. Welcome to the land of smiles!  My adventure begins!
