Almost everything, everything seems to be your favourite food. Chocolates, all type of fruits, pasta, pizza, sea food, variety of meat down to the soup and grilled pork belly. You definitely fall head over heel to this habit called eating. Once you’re sad you eat, once you’re happy you eat, whenever there’s a celebration you eat, whatever circumstances there is…you end up eating.
Some of you just gobbled their last slice of pizza, then scrolled down their newsfeed from social media advertising a new trend for a proper workout and exercise just popped out. You were strucked by the guilty feeling of having a double fatty fat belly on your stomach. You aimed last year that you are going to lose weight to attain the 24 inches waist line just like on the TV commercials, yet you failed and disappointed yourself.
Who must we blame?
It is your addiction to eat everything.
But, you know as I’ve learned, becoming a happy person also rely on food. Sometimes, because of the social norms or standard of being sexy, we deprived ourselves on food which sometimes our source of energy and happiness. Depriving to the point that we kill the joy of eating and joining our own family dinner, group and friend’s lunch out, picnic, eat all you can gatherings , occasions and a lot more. We missed the true value of a certain gathering , the bond that we could create, the conversations, the how are you and sharings because we limit ourselves.
Food if life. Yup. And food transcends our timely emotions and never be out of stock especially on our saddest moments.
If you are worrying about the jeans and tops that you cannot wear right now, just throw that guilty feeling behind. Don’t ever stress yourself because of your waist line and figure, your size doesn’t matter. It will never decrease your value and worth as a woman.
You gained weight because of eating your favourite sweetened baked-rolls, well…break it by starting an aim. A goal. You should be eating everything you want, but continue on achieving a healthy lifestyle. A daily walk going to work will do. Or a simple exercise and stretching will be beneficial. In that sense, you will not deprive yourself from eating…you just make parameters and do necessary work outs after a huge meal and carbo-filled snacks.
It is you girl. Your love for eating will simply define you. Your likes and dislikes. Your character and your choices. It is your identity. It is the balance equilibrium that matters. You eat it all, you exercise it out more.
